Working Hard, Seeing Little Progress? Book Club Could Be Your Key In 2026

Are you pouring heart into your solopreneur business but seeing little progress? At Renew Prosper, we get it. We empower you with AI, systems, strategies, coaching, and community so you can seize opportunities and scale profitably. We are very proud of our latest tool, it's an old idea, really, but a powerful one. Introducing the Renew Prosper Book Club.

Here is a stark reality. Ray Dalio’s October 2025 Fortune Global Forum data shows 60% of Americans read below a sixth-grade level, confirmed at 54% by the National Center for Education Statistics. This literacy gap is a big deal and a problem for America.

The Wisdom of Reading: A Hidden Superpower

The idea that reading transforms lives often escapes people. After school, only 26% of U.S. adults read at least one non-fiction book per year (Pew Research, 2025-09-12). Wait, what? Three-quarters of adults read less than one book a year? And many brag about it?

Not reading is leaving a powerful evolution tool untapped. Wise minds see it differently.

Albert Einstein: “The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library. Reading is the royal road to intellectual wealth.”

Confucius: “To learn without thinking is useless; to think without learning is dangerous. The book is the bridge between the two.”

Reading condenses decades into hours—a hyper-efficient hack. Mark Twain said, “The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.” Maya Angelou added, “When I look back, I am so impressed again with the life-giving power of literature.”

Charlie Munger: “In my whole life, I have known no wise people (over a broad subject matter area) who didn’t read all the timenone, zero. You’d be amazed at how much Warren reads—and how much I read.”

Jim Rohn: “Learning is the beginning of wealth. Learning is the beginning of health. Learning is the beginning of spirituality. Searching and learning is where the miracle process all begins.”

This wisdom highlights reading’s potential, often overlooked by those stuck in post-school habits. But entrepreneurs are different. It's been said that nothing will make you grow like owning your own business. It's true, because you must get good at a lot of things you don't want to get good at – or fail. But there's a shortcut and that's what this is all about.

Your Keystone to Success: A Curated Library and Community Hub

Book Club’s design is a meticulously crafted three-level architecture, ensuring accessibility and depth. The Hub serves as the entry point, featuring the upcoming book of the month, a prominent registration button, and links to new pages for each of the 8 Pillars of Solopreneur Success. That's the second level.

Level two showcases books for each of the 8 Pillars: MindsetBusiness • Marketing • Sales • Systems • Leadership • Money • Health.

Each pillar page displays a grid of book covers, a two-sentence summary for each, and “Read the Summary” buttons. Clicking these (or the book covers) takes you deeper, to the third level, offering a seamless transition.

The third level is where the magic is with the book cover, 10 key bullet point takeaways tailored to self-employed professionals, an explainer paragraph connecting the content to common entrepreneurial challenges, an Amazon buy button for convenience. At the bottom of each page, you can navigate back to the pillar page, and from there back to the Hub.

This layered approach guides you from broad exploration to actionable insights, maximizing your learning efficiency.

The Expanded Architecture of Book Club: A Deep Dive

The Hub acts as your command center, where you can see what the next group discussion book is and register if you like. The Pillars level organizes content thematically, allowing you to focus on areas like Leadership or Systems based on your needs because each pillar page is a gateway to tailored wisdom.

The Book level delivers the full experience, with takeaways designed to spark immediate application, whether you are refining a sales pitch or automating tasks.

This three-tiered structure – Hub as the launchpad, Pillars as the framework, and Books as the actionable core – mirrors a solopreneur’s growth path, from awareness to mastery. It’s a scalable system, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed while always finding relevant insights to propel your journey forward.

Unlock Learning In A Community For Faster Growth

Solopreneurship can feel isolated. But imagine developing a common vocabulary. It's like when everyone in a room knows what a phrase means because they saw the same TV show. A whole episode can sometimes be communicated with the punchline of a joke. It's the same with books.

And this doesn't have to be just among us. Imagine if you invite your key suppliers, customers, or stakeholders, and they also attended Book Club. You'd have a whole eco-system that can convey big ideas with just a few words because they also read and discussed these books.

Some might call that tribal learning. Whatever you call it, it makes business easier and more efficient. Orrin Woodward says, “A leader’s growth is limited by what he reads and learns.” David Senra calls it tapping 'thousands of years of history' in hours. Our Zoom workshops turn this into action.

Are you in sales or looking to add value to people you call on? Break the transactional norm of traditional 'dialing for dollars' sales calls. Instead, invite prospects or customers to join Book Club and build a deeper relationship with them.

Learning is more fun together and you'd be surprised how many other people have 2026 goals around personal development or growth. You will end up building relationships that go beyond business – I've seen it happen and I still talk to people who were in a previous book club that I led.

The Ground Rules

There are very few rules to Book Club. The fancy term for our format is a Socratic dialogue, which just means asking and answering questions to stimulate critical thinking and draw out assumptions.

In plain English, it means: “Instead of telling us what you read, or what you liked, please share how it changed you.” and “Tell us what you tried, what worked, what didn't and what you learned.” No book reports, just your own lived experience.

Often times, explaining something we experienced is how we connect the dots, grow, and learn. Do you remember helping someone with math, or a dance move, and your think, "Hmm, wait a minute. How does this work? Oh, I remember." And as you explain it, you re-figure-it-out in your own mind.

Sharing how you tried something you read in a book is a lot like that. It leads to Ah-ha moments and growth; not just for you, but for everyone in the room or on the call. This is a safe place for you to just be a struggling entrepreneur. Growth = Struggle. There's no way around that.

If you are like most of us, you do not have enough friends or peers you can talk about your solopreneur journey with. Let Book Club be an oasis of understanding and learning for you.

How Deep Learning Powers Your Journey and Beyond

Our Book Club is the keystone for every RP Journey step. From focal points (problems and issues which make up Step 1), to AI automations (Step 7), the books we've selected lay a solid foundation. Remember, “Your team will never rise above your own level of development.” —Orrin Woodward

Imagine you commit to reading 58 books over five years. That's one a month. You won't just get better. You will transform and be unrecognizable!

Gain Profit First savvy, Essentialism clarity, and The Courage to Be Disliked freedom. It’s like building with “blueprints, tools, and master carpenters,” avoiding 90% of mistakes. Every month you will be able to apply this practically. For example, use The Slight Edge to automate daily client follow-ups with AI tools from our coaching program.

Why Book Club? The Ultimate Hack for Your Success

I created Book Club because reading is the ultimate business hack. Authors pour 20 years into one book, time we can’t replicate alone. Our individual book page summaries sift the noise, like a movie trailer, letting you say, "That looks interesting." Or, "That's not my biggest issue right now, I'll pass."

Solopreneurs need an escape from isolation. Connecting with peers, feeling like you are part of a community who win or fail alongside each other builds resilience. Pair this with AI coaching, effort turns into profit, purpose, and strength. This is the Renew Prosper mission: fail less, succeed faster, don't feel alone.
