I founded Renew | Prosper™ after decades in finance, real estate, and lending — fields where strategy, trust, and execution are critical. I’ve seen too many talented people make unforced errors, burn out, or give up for lack of tools, mindset, or support.

Meet Kent Kopen
Kent brings a unique blend of professional expertise and commitment to service. His career spans finance, real estate, and education — industries where strategy, trust, and execution matter most.
If he has a superpower, it is explaining complex ideas in plain language and building long-term relationships rooted in trust.
Previously a securities-licensed financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley, Kent also has deep experience in real estate, mortgage banking, and construction project management.
Over the course of 2,000+ mortgage closings, he has saved clients millions in interest while guiding them through some of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. Learn more here.
He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California (with honors) and an Architectural Engineering degree from the University of Colorado. Kent is also a founding member and current Academic Advisor for the National Institute of Financial Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on financial literacy.
